Wherever I Go by novelhill Wherever I Go by novelhill
A quiet and lovely San Luis Obispo evening, as seen from the foothills of Bishop's Peak.

Taken with a Canon 60D and a Tamron 10-22mm lens.

Sick. I need to climb that mountain again. The last few times I've gone it's only been to the foothills.

This is freaking great! the framing is perfect with te eyes following the little path through the picture, the light is warm and give the depth and volume of the landscape so well. Light and dark. Very well done picture. I run seeing your gallery.

Love this place. Especially down that trail a bit. A wonderful place to sit and ponder. :)

Great pic Brandon, hows that Tamron lens working out? Thinking of maybe getting one... eventually. ;)

I like it. If I'd had the money, I definitely would have gone with the Canon Lens, but this one is working out great. My biggest problem with it, of all things, is that the lens hood is unnecessarily wide and bulky.

Oh, haha. Guess its an option to even have it on there! :) I was also looking at maybe one of the wide-lens' from Tokina. Thier all Japanese companies including Sigma so it really just comes down to price. :) Thanks bran.

I guess you could use it without a hood, but I always use mine.... always.

I just love sloping hills. And this is breathtaking - in a lazy afternoon car-trip listening to airy-songs with a can of cold beverage - sort of way

*** scratch that ***

"a lazy afternoon walking hand-in-hand with a close friend remembering the good-old-times amidst gentle sweeping of the warm breeze" sort of way.

And that tree yonder is just the place to have a picnic!

Wow, really nice location. I like the vintage feel of the photo too, it lends itself well to the landscape.
